Sylvia Plath’s poem ‘The Arrival of the Bee Box’ was the starting point for our first project.

 

We asked a small group of artists to respond to the poem in whatever way they wished. We exhibited the results at The Chapel Gallery, Bromyard in October 2015. We then invited 9 writers to make works inspired by the visual pieces for performance which took place in March 2016.

 

The idea was to see what would emerge from the double process of writers responding to artists responding to this wonderful and disturbing poem.
